Recently, the Sea Salt Working Conference of the China Salt Association was held in Weifang. The establishment of the Sea Salt Working Committee was announced at the meeting, marking that my country’s sea salt work will be further regulated. Nearly 200 persons in charge of salt industry companies and large and medium-sized salt farms from more than 10 provinces and cities in sea salt producing areas including Shandong, Tianjin, Hebei, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan attended the meeting.

At present, the number and output of sea salt enterprises in the domestic salt industry still account for a large proportion. According to statistics, there are 169 industrial and commercial registered enterprises in the country, and some small salt farms are difficult to count. The situation of "small scattered and weak", extensive production It is still the main feature of my country's sea salt industry, which is far from the same industry abroad. Foreign companies have high industrial concentration, reasonable resource utilization, high production mechanization, good quality, high efficiency, low cost, and high market competitiveness; in terms of science and technology, Yantian is scientifically managed, using biotechnology to establish biological systems, and Yantian biological purification of brine , The labor productivity is 10 times that of my country's sea salt enterprises. In recent years, the salt industry in Shandong Province has actively implemented the opinions of the National Development and Reform Commission on the structural adjustment of salt production, intensified structural adjustments, and promoted enterprise reorganization and integration. Initial progress has been made. The number of salt-making enterprises in Shandong Province has changed from more to less, and the scale tends to be concentrated.  

　　 The relevant person in charge of the China Salt Industry Association emphasized that in the future, the National Development and Reform Commission will continue to implement the salt production structure adjustment opinions, accelerate its own development, and actively respond to the reform of the salt industry system. All sea salt salt-making enterprises must resolutely implement the "Salt Industry Structural Adjustment Opinions" of the National Development and Reform Commission, formulate the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", and realize the grouping of sea salt production on a large scale.
